The United Arab Emirates Red Crescent öAuthority (UAERC) in cooperation with the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Syria has donated food aid and SYP 312,000 in cash to UNRWA for distribution to needy Palestine refugee families in Damascus.

The European Commission has today announced a contribution of €13 million to support the Job Creation Programme of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), which will help to create more than 1,4 million work days for Gaza's unemployed.

With the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, the Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) has donated $261,966 to UNRWA to finance several bakeries across the Gaza Strip in order to distribute free bread to Palestine refugee families.
