Spain contributes to upgrading health care to Palestinians in Shatila refugee camp

A newly reconstructed health centre has been officially inaugurated in Shatila refugee camp under the patronage and presence of His Excellency Mr. Juan Carlos Gafo, the Spanish Ambassador to Lebanon, and of Mr. Salvatore Lombardo, Director of UNRWA Affairs in Lebanon.

EUR 150,000 from the Spanish regional government of Baleares funds emergency food programme

In response to UNRWA’s 2008 Emergency Appeal, the regional government of Balearic Islands in Spain contributed with EUR 150,000 to the Emergency Food Aid programme for Bedouin and other herding communities in the West Bank.


Zaragoza City Council contribute to the improvement of environmental conditions in the refugee camps of the West Bank

The Government of Qatar through the Qatar Charity contribute US$ 10 million to UNRWA
